Birding Stroll Along the Audubon Center and Santa Fe River

Take a guided stroll through the beautiful Randall Davey Audubon Center & Sanctuary and along the Santa Fe River, to enjoy some of the region’s beautiful bird species and habitat. Bounded by thousands of acres of National Forest and Santa Fe River Watershed land, the Audubon Center’s striking landscape provides a peaceful sanctuary for plants, animals and our visitors. Ranging from common to rare, approximately 190 species of birds can be found in the various ecosystems of this sanctuary and Important Bird Area! Whether visiting to see some of the 190 bird species recorded here, tour the gardens and get a better understanding of our native plant life, or here to tour the historic Randall Davey house and studio, we hope you’ll leave with a better understanding of why the Randall Davey Audubon Center & Sanctuary is such a special place in this “City Different” of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Center is a wildlife sanctuary and not conducive to doggy visitors. Service dogs allowed on leash. Thank you.
