21 Jul Screaming Eagle Mountain Coaster Ride
We are excited to offer rides on the only Mountain Coaster in the state of New Mexico, boasting 5100 feet of waves, dips, plus a 360-degree helix! It is a top destination located at Ruidoso Winter Park, nestled at the base of Sierra Blanca.
Drivers control the speed of their cart with max speeds of 25mph, plus the Screaming Eagle Mountain Coaster boasts a state-of-the-art collision avoidance system to make sure each rider can enjoy their ride safely.
The Screaming Eagle Mountain Coaster operates based on weather and track conditions.
Each car holds up to 2 people, and the maximum weight for each car is 300lbs. Drivers must be at least 52” and 9 years old. Riders must be at least 36” with a driver 16 years of age or older.
Total Trip Time: Up to 2 hours (leaving parking lot of Ruidoso Convention Center and Tour Completion):
Meeting Times: 1 PM, Oct. 16th (Immediately following Conference)

Actual Tour Time: 7-10 Minute Ride
Terrain: Smooth rollercoaster track with typical but comfortable roller coaster action.
What to Bring: Water, snacks, sunscreen, boots, hat. Shorts are probably not a good idea. Jeans or very durable pants are better.
Group Limit: 50
Age Limit: 9 yrs or older to ride your own cart
Difficulty Level: Must be comfortable in a roller coaster environment, and able to control your self speed system. The system is designed with a state-of-the-art collision avoidance system to make sure each rider can enjoy their ride safely.
Special Directions, Safety Restrictions, etc.:
You must be at least 3 years old and 36″ to be a passenger
You must be at least 9 years old and 52″ to drive your own cart
You must be at least 16 to have a passenger
There is a 300lb weight limit per cart; any 2 people can ride together as long as they are under the weight limit.
It is almost a mile from the top to the bottom, and the whole ride typically takes 7-10 minutes from start to end.
