When: Meet at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 2, 2021

Terrain: Relatively flat with several gullies to cross

What to Bring: hat, comfortable walking shoes, sun screen, water

Group Limit: 10; Tour transportation by Jeep provided by Black Bear Unlimited

Tour Description: Participants will board Jeeps at Salmon Ruins for a beautiful drive through canyonlands and vistas to the Crow Canyon Archaeological District east of Bloomfield. Archaeologists from Salmon Ruins Museum will lead a cultural tour of Navajo petroglyphs in Crow Canyon. Interpretations of the rock art motifs will be given. Lunch will be provided.
